Celebrate your occasion

The Mountain House is the ideal place to celebrate any special occasion. With our many lodging options, professional kitchen, public rooms, porches, decks and landscaped grounds we can create your ideal environment. In season, large tents can be erected on our spacious lawn to host outdoor celebrations and banquets. 

Special events scheduled in the winter are best suited for groups of 30 and under. For weddings and other events there is required a 3-night minimum at a base rate of $5,300 for use of the premises. (To include use of the Chalet: $5,900) Inquire about catering, tents and other equipment rentals, as well as the Mountain House policies for special events.

Anniversary and birthday celebrations, office Christmas parties, family reunions, graduation parties, annual meetings, and business forums are examples events we host at the Mountain House. Your event deserves the natural splendor, breathtaking views, and intimate seclusion of the Adirondacks!

Weddings of fewer than 80 can be scheduled from May thru October.

Events must end by 10 pm and guests not staying at the Mountain House shall leave at that time.

Alcohol served at the event must be furnished by a vendor licensed by NYS Alcoholic Beverage Control. All liability is assumed by the host of the event.

Fireworks are absolutely not permitted.

Music cannot by loud and the DJ or live music must be approved prior to the event.
